Impact British Training Solutions has launched its fitness education courses in Jordan and Doha.

A team of master trainers will deliver courses at Fitness One in Jordan from January 4 to7 and at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha from January 28 to 31.

The courses will be led by Impact British Training Solutions managing director Amanda Brewer.

“So far in the Middle East, there is no government legislation that demands any standard of qualification from fitness staff,” said Brewer. “However, despite this, hotels are no doubt keen to ensure that their staff are trained to the highest levels”.

The company will be running the Central YMCA Qualifications (CYQ)-accredited Gym Instructor course in both Jordan and Doha, and two additional courses in Doha; Circuit Instructor and i-Stretch, which is based on stretch and remedial posture.

On successful completion of the courses, the participant gains entry to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 2 (teacher status) and Level 3 (advanced teacher status).

According to the company, CYQ Level 2 is the preferred prerequisite for most advanced fitness programmes — widely seen as the benchmark qualification across Europe.
