Copthorne Hotel Dubai has appointed Noushad Abdulrahim as director of sales.
With 15 years of experience in hospitality management, a decade of which he earned in Dubai, Abdulrahmin is tasked with improving sales production, expanding the hotel's corporate segment and further developing sales and marketing strategy.
Abdulrahmin acquired a degree in hotel management at Kerala University and first embarked on a hospitality career with an entry-level trainee role at four-star Aquaserene Golden Tulip hotel in his native Kerala, India. After stints in South India at Taj Garden Retreat, Kerala and Casa Anjuna, Goa, he moved to the UAE in 2007. In Dubai, he first worked as duty manager at Flora Grand Hotel, Dubai, staying with the hotel group for a decade. In 2009, he transitioned from operations into sales and in 2016, was eventually promoted to the post of cluster assistant director of sales across four Flora Hospitality properties.
