The St Regis Abu Dhabi has launched a photography competition on Instagram in collaboration with Sony Middle East and Africa.
The grand prize winner will win a three-night stay at The St Regis Mauritius Resort as well as obtain access to the helipad at the top of The St Regis Abu Dhabi for a sunset photoshoot in the capital.
The helipad tops the hotel at 225 metres and is the highest in the Middle East. It is only used by guests arriving or departing via helicopter or for a group of 20 guests partaking in the hotel's 'Helipad Sunset Supper' experience which takes place every second Friday of the month during the winter season.
The winning photographer will be given a three-hour private shoot opportunity at this venue.
Interested photographers are invited to post their images of The St Regis Abu Dhabi hotel on Instagram along with the hashtags #MyStRegisSonyMoment #LiveExquisite with the following tags @StRegisAbuDhabi @SonyMEA and @StRegisMauritius. The competition runs from August 23 to September 18, 2017.
Five finalists will be selected on September 20, 2017. The finalists will then be invited to do a photoshoot in the hotel's The Abu Dhabi Suite, which is suspended between the Nation Towers' 48th and 49th floors, more than 200 metres above the ground, providing views of the Arabian Gulf and the UAE capital’s skyline. using a Sony a7rII camera. Photos from this shoot will be posted on The St Regis Abu Dhabi's Instagram page and fans can vote on Instagram for their favourite. The winner will be announced on September 26, 2017.
