Hilton Abu Dhabi will host a week-long Malaysian food festival at its all-day dining restaurant from August 25th - August 31st.

Diners in the capital can sample Malaysian dishes at La Terrazza from 6.30pm until 11pm with a menu designed by chef Salim Hj Pawi, the hotel’s guest chef for the season.

Hailing from the Malaysian state of Sarawak, Chef Salim has been with Hilton since 2008. The dinner buffet will comprise a soft drinks package and an alcohol package and will feature traditional recipes from his homeland.

In addition to a selection of salads, main courses and desserts, La Terrazza will have a noodle soup station and a live stall for endless helpings of chicken and beef satay.

Pawi said in a statement: “I believe in cooking with love and I always try to bring in an element of home to the world of fine-dining. Through this menu, I want our guests to discover Malay cuisine and for them to appreciate the harmony in the flavours and the beauty in the presentation of the dishes.”
