Toro & Ko, the Barcelona-inspired tapas bar from chefs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette will launch its Dubai branch in early September at City Walk.

Located at the licensed dining destination, The Square, the concept brings the soul of Barcelona to Dubai by way of Manhattan. With locations in Boston, New York, and Bangkok, Toro & Ko Dubai will introduce the UAE to the eclectic Spanish fare both chefs are known for, with a focus on local ingredients from the surrounding markets.

Of the Dubai expansion chef and co-owner, Jamie Bissonnette, said: "We are counting down the days until the opening of Toro & Ko Dubai. This is our first concept in the Middle East, and we couldn't be more excited to bring the passion behind the Toro name to a city that both of us feel so connected to”.

Partner chef and co-owner, Ken Oringer, added: “Dubai is a city we admire for its deep-rooted culture and culinary landscape. This is why it is even more special for us to be able to highlight the local flavours and ingredients of this city throughout the Toro & Ko Dubai menu. We are looking forward to learning from this amazing city, and are ready for what is sure to be an unforgettable adventure!”

With a carefully curated cocktail menu and tapas designed to share, Toro & Ko Dubai is set to become a regular haunt for discerning diners.
