A. Ronai design and production manager David Sprakes has revealed that the company is launching its new, expanded Uniforms by Ronai catalogue this year.

After more than two years in existence, Uniforms by Ronai is launching its new catalogue with a new suiting range, new ladieswear and more - all with "fabulous flattering easy care fabric", said Sprakes to Hotelier Middle East at The Hotel Show 2017.

The firm's 'Builder' section has also been expanded; as an example, the shirt builder now has more detail to choose from, including 35 plain colours along with the stripes, checks, prints and heavyweights, among others.

Sprakes added: "Basically everything has grown." He listed the tunic builder, chefs' jackets, hospitality sections and others as all having added to their variety of choice.

As he stated a few days ago, the hipster trend has taken over, and Sprakes commented: "It's a lot more casual, very hipster. There is a move away from the staid and classic uniform. Obviously there are some venues which will always need that, but there a lot of places embracing colour again."

He also pointed out one of the many benefits of the catalogue: "Many places are expecting staff to look after their uniforms now so if we can help have our fabrics a bit more easycare, that helps the people."
