Emirates will introduce three additional flights per week to the Swedish capital, complementing Emirates’ existing schedule and providing more choice to travellers from December 8, 2017.

The new scheduled flights will be added to meet the growing demand for travel on the route, particularly during the winter season.

Since launching its current daily scheduled service in September 2013, Emirates has continued to grow demand for both inbound and outbound travel. The introduction of the three additional flights on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is in response to the increased demand.

The new Emirates flight EK155 will commence from in December, departing Dubai at 3pm, arriving in Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) at 6:45pm. The return flight EK156 will depart ARN at 9:10pm arriving at Dubai International Airport at 6:30am the following day.

Operated by Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration, the new flights, like the current scheduled daily flight, will offer eight private suites in first class, featuring automated sliding doors and personal mini-bars; 42 lie-flat seats in business and 310 seats in economy.

Passengers travelling in first and business class also enjoy premium lounge access at Stockholm Arlanda airport as well as Emirates’ complimentary chauffeur drive service providing transport to and from the airport within a 60km radius.

The current existing daily flight, EK 157, departs Dubai at 8:10am arriving at ARN at 11:55am, the return flight EK158 departs ARN at 1:35pm, landing back in Dubai at 10:55pm.

In the past three months, Emirates has ramped up its service to Europe with the launch of the daily flights to Zagreb in June, the double daily A380 service to Moscow from October 1, and an A380 service to Nice, France in July.

The carrier also announced in July that it will introduce an additional daily flight to Brussels, complementing the existing schedule and providing a double-daily service to customers from October 29.
