Roti Rollers, the Dubai-based homegrown sandwich concept puts a contemporary twist on Indian favourites with a new outlet in Jumeirah’s Dar Wasl Mall near Box Park Dubai.
“Roti Rollers is Indian food evolved. We have added just enough touches of exotic Indian heritage to remind us of our roots and to not lose that authentic Indian flavour,” said Roti Rollers founder Ahsan Kahlon,
Aside from personalised options, seven rollers with quirky names like Ozzy Osprawn, Hen Stefani and Robert Paneero, are featured on the menu. The menu also offers other Indian offerings with a twist: salted caramel date lassis, fried okra, Indian French toast, chocolate samosas and truck driver’s chai.
F&B consultants Restaurant Secrets Inc. helped conceptualise and incubate Roti Rollers. Restaurant Secrets CEO Ralph Homer commented: “The UAE is always craving something new yet familiar. We are challenging the conventional ways people think about sandwiches and Indian food. Every aspect of the concept was developed to fill in the gap the market presents – more home-grown sandwich brands with locally loved flavours, fresh ingredients and hearty DIY options.”
Roti Rollers will open a second location at La Mer later in the year.
