Arabian American Technologies Co. (Aramtec) has ramped up innovation by launching a new concept for chocolate decorations inspired by nature, dubbed 'Dobla's Nature', sales & marketing manager - pastry division Riyadh Hassan has revealed ahead of the company's sponsorship of the Hotelier Express Summit 2017 which is set to take place November 22 at Grosvenor House, Dubai.

Hassan said that the new launch was driven by insights emerging from the company's engaging with local market research and focus groups, which indicated that when it comes to decorations, customers have a preference for an imperfect and natural look that is naturally beautiful, as well as the convenience of a ready to use application.

Hassan added that it is precisely such partnerships that create strategies and innovation which drives Aramtec to support events such as the Hotelier Express Summit 2017.

"Partnerships are created by people, strategies and  innovation. This is what Aramtec wants to create by supporting the very well-known events in this region and the Hotelier Express Middle East Summit is one of these important events, dedicated for the region’s fast growing mid-scale hospitality industry," Hassan said. "The importance of this association is to have the opportunity to get to know the leading decision-makers and get the most up-to-date regional news on new projects."

Hassan said he believed that with food & beverage growing to become a a more important revenue contributor to hotels, innovation continues to be key for Aramtec in growing demand, despite dealing with increased competition as well as  the rising costs of commodities needed in the sector.

"We need more demand growth beyond what comes through the economy," he said. "Competition is one element that all hoteliers know they’ll continue to battle. Also, the cost of commodities that the hotels depend on are rising, and that presents a problem for a lot of hotels. After all, food and beverage revenue can be vital to a hotel, as this can typically comprise between 10% and 20% of total revenues."

According to Hassan, having a generous portfolio of food products, a team of qualified staff and a solid, reliable supply chain contribute to Aramtec's growth.
Looking forward, Hassan said: "Our goal is to double the size of our business in three years."
