Heritage hotel Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in Bur Dubai, has completed its AED 5 million (US$1.4 million) renovation programme.
The renovation programme covered the soft refurbishment of 150 guestrooms, with traditional interiors modernised with electronic fitouts, reading lights and multiple device charging sockets to cater for the needs of today’s travellers. Guest bathrooms were likewise upgraded to offer more space, light and modern conveniences. Rain shower functions were added to the bathrooms in hotel suites and executive floor guestrooms.
The renovation project lasted for four months and also included an upgrade of the hotel's pool deck, which features an outdoor shisha lounge. Other facilities of the four-star hotel that had enhancement works included the Pharaoh Café and La Terrasse, as well as the executive floor VIP lounge on the seventh floor.
General manager and Planet Group hospitality division CEO Habib Khan said: “Our focus was to enhance the guest experience in all areas of the hotel. We are confident our guests will enjoy the updated look and feel of our hotel from the moment they walk in the door."
