Ayman Gharib has been appointed as managing director of Raffles Dubai and Sofitel Dubai Wafi. Both of the properties are part of AccorHotels Luxury Brands portfolio.
In his new role, Gharib will oversee the opening of Sofitel’s largest property in the Middle East which is scheduled to open in 2019 and will continue to lead Raffles Dubai’s overall performance and strategic direction.
Gharib brings over 20 years of luxury hospitality experience to his new role.

Gharib holds a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism from Notre Dame University and a Master’s of Science in International Hotel Management from the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK.
This November, Raffles Dubai celebrated 10 years since its opening, with more than one million guests having stayed at the property.
