Lava Beach Club, located within the Fairmont Fujairah, is set to open on December 15, 2017.

Spanning over 2,600m2, Lava Beach Club will feature an 840m2 free-form pool tiled to represent flowing lava in hues of orange and yellow amidst views of the Gulf of Oman and the mountains.

Amphitheatre-style sun-loungers can be found across the club, fully equipped with day chalets, and a multi-functional event lawn area.

The club will be open on weekdays from 7am to 11pm and on the weekend between 7am to 12am, with a 21+ age policy from 8pm onwards on weekends.

“We are elated to be announcing the launch of Fujairah’s first destination beach club,” said Omar Souab, general manager of Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort. “Coinciding with the first anniversary of the opening of Fujairah’s only art-inspired resort, the launch of Lava Beach Club will continue to set a new standard of luxury experiences.”

The beach club can hold close to 400 guests and features facilities including a fully-equipped DJ booth and shisha lounge, along with a watersports and dive centre. Guests can enjoy direct access to a private and dedicated beach, a sunken pool bar and a choice of five fully-equipped luxury day chalets complete with mini bar, TV, sofa and bathroom. Also targeting families, the beach club will feature a kids’ pool equipped with splash pad water play facilities and a Little Sailors’ Kids Club staffed by a team from Seven Oaks Nursery.

Guests can also choose to stay at the Lava Penthouse, overlooking the Lava Pool. This four-bedroom accommodation has a private entrance and a master en-suite fitted with a walk-in wardrobe. It also features a living room, dining area and a terrace connecting each of the spacious bedrooms.

Lava Beach Club will showcase "MediterrAsian" cuisine at the beach club restaurant, Lava Dining. Guests can expect a selection of meats, local seafood, and a varied assortment of salads and sushi. Visitors may also enjoy the resort’s restaurants and facilities including Fairmont’s Willow Stream Spa and five dining venues, from international cuisine at Canvas, Café Pronto’s European-style bistro and The Copper Lobster’s seafood and gastro-bar concept to Arteasan’s art-inspired tearoom and Iammai’s pool and shisha lounge.
