The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery has opened its doors as the region’s first 360-degree holistic wellbeing resort, located on the Palm Jumeirah.

Tucked away on the coastline of Palm Jumeirah’s East Crescent, the beachfront destination houses 255 rooms and suites, all designed with natural elements, earth tones and guided by a Feng Shui philosophy.

A highlight of the resort is the Rayya Wellness Centre, inspired by a 360-degree holistic wellness concept. Dubai Health Authority (DHA) endorsed wellness experts, from lifestyle coaches to nutritionists, a wellness chef, and a doctor of naturopathy, are on hand.

The resort offers six retreats designed for the mind, body and spirit. Packages range from three to fourteen nights including programmes such as 'Renew', focused on detox and cleansing; 'Revive', centered around emotional wellbeing; and 'Reshape', a fitness and nutrition package.

Treating dietary concerns, mood swings and food allergies is the Glenville Nutrition Clinic (GNC), another wellness feature at the resort. The GNC is fully licensed to carry out medical analysis of guests. Completed by The Natural Health Practice (NHP), the clinic offers over 200 trademarked wellness products.

The resort's Rayya Spa features an array of therapies and spa treatments using organic products, from Altearah, a French brand of organic cosmetic products, through to Salt of The Earth, a Utah-based company whose salts are produced from the Great Salt Lake. Treatments include spa rituals such as '1001 Arabian Nights', including desert scrub, massage and camel milk facial, through to cryotherapy and the traditional hammam. 

The resort features an infinity swimming pool above the beach, with air conditioned cabanas facing views of the sea and the Dubai skyline. Organic pressed juices are served hourly while every evening, the lobby undergoes a candlelight ritual.

MGallery signature guest experiences area available at The Retreat, such as 'Memorable Moments' and 'Inspired by Her'. 'Memorable Moments', destination-focused experiences, take the form of chauffeur-driven Bedouin breakfasts in the desert, to candle-lit dinners on the beach.  'Inspired by Her' experiences are created especially for women and include a collection of wellness amenities, silk bathrobes, and female-led activities such as beach yoga as well as book clubs hosted at the resort.

Rayya Fitness offers a gym, tennis court and yoga studios and for children, it offers 'Rayya Kids' with a fully supervised indoor and outdoor play area, with children’s entertainment including yoga.

The property features four dining concepts promoting healthy cuisine, using local, organically-sourced products.

The resort’s signature restaurant, The Social Kitchen, provides Levantine cuisine, while Chapters is the lobby café. Vibe offers fruit and salad bars as well as á-la-carte options from breakfast through to dinner, and plays host to afternoon cooking classes. Ripples poolside bar serves locally-sourced fruit and vegetable juices, as well as a food truck parked poolside serving street food.
