Turbine & Taps, an industrial-style restaurant and lounge, opened its doors at the Sheraton Oman Hotel - which re-opened in late 2016 after a decade.
The restaurant will offer an extensive gallery of beverages including curated blends and hops, and has a resident DJ. The interior design is industrial in nature, with brushed metals, soft leather and bolted detailing.
Signature dishes include sticky tamarind-chilli beef short ribs and crunchy creole mustard chicken.
"We are delighted to be launching an all-new concept in Oman, as well as adding to our portfolio of food and beverage concepts within the hotel. We had a lot of fun throughout the design phase of Turbine & Taps, which has been extended throughout the menu, uniforms and overall offering of the venue. Our vision in everything we do is to be industrial-chic,” said Sheraton Oman hotel director of food & beverage Panagiotis Mertekis in a statement.
