Kuwait’s Al Kout project, the largest waterfront retail and entertainment leisure project has entered its last phase of construction, according to a TradeArabia report.
The US $407 million (KD 123 million) project, which expands over a 300,000 sq m plot, will offer six different experiences including the Al Kout Mall which will occupy around 100,000 sq m of the area. The mall will house the Infunity Sea Family Entertainment Centre and the first ever Q8 Karting, the largest indoor track of its kind in the Middle East.
The project will house 360 stores and a 12-screen theatre complex with IMAX and 4DX which will be managed by the Kuwait National Cinema Company. The dining features will also include 11 Kuwaiti trademarks to support initiatives from Kuwaiti entrepreneurs, the report said.
The project stretches across a 1.6 km seafront in the Fahaheel area with the views of the Al Kout Marina which can accommodate over 150 boats. The project is also a 25-minute drive from the Kuwait International Airport and 45 minutes away from Saudi Arabia borders.
Tamdeen Group Marketing general manager Muath B. Al Roumi said: "The first quarter of 2018 will witness the birth of an exceptional tourism and retail destination in Kuwait.
“With many exciting tourist attractions for all, Tamdeen Group is proud of Al Kout Project, and Al Kout Mall in particular, as a multi use destination that goes beyond mainstream concepts of shopping centres. This will be one of the leading urban landmarks in Kuwait offering an enthralling mix of modernity and Kuwaiti heritage," Al Roumi added.
