Mediterranean restaurant & bar Boca has appointed Matthijs Stinnissen as head chef.
He joins Boca from Jason Atherton’s Marina Social where he was the sous chef working closely with chef patron Tristin Farmer, and more recently, head chef Craig Best.
Stinnissen arrived in Dubai to work at Tom Aikens’ Pots Pans & Boards, and previously gained experience at one, two, and three Michelin starred restaurants, and S.Pellegrino’s The World’s 100 Best Restaurants establishments in the Benelux region.
