InterContinental Abu Dhabi has appointed Karam Al Mordaa as the new director of rooms. Al Mordaa will oversee the room division and guest experience for the hotel located in the heart of the capital city.
Al Mordaa has more than 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Before his new apooinment, he worked as the guest services supervisor at InterContinental Abu Dhabi since 2008. Before that, Al Mordaa has held other guest experience positions at both Starwood and Four Seasons hotels.
In his new role, Al Mordaa will oversee the room division with a team of 216 members including recreation, marina, housekeeping, front office and health & safety departments.
For his work between 2015 to 2016, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts recognised Al Mordaa with the ‘Manager of the Year’ award.
