Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Middle East and Africa has taken over a 169-key property in Kuwait, and will operate Copthorne Kuwait City.
The hotel was previously the Holiday Downtown Kuwait, and was de-flagged in November 2016.
Located close to Kuwait City’s financial and business district, 20 minutes from Kuwait International Airport, Copthorne Kuwait City offers 169 rooms and suites.
Amenities include a business centre with 10 meeting rooms and three grand ballrooms, alongside a fitness centre and indoor swimming pool. The hotel also has two restaurants; all-day dining restaurant Downtown, The Square Café Restaurant serving a selection of selection of salads, sandwiches and steak, as well as the alfresco Shisha Square Terrace.
Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA chief operating officer Kevork Deldelian said in a statement: "We are delighted to be launching our third property in Kuwait.
