Arjaan by Rotana, located in Dubai Media City, hosted a free health awareness seminar and free check-ups recently. The seminar was held as part of the hotel's CSR initiatives to promote health and well being in the community.
The seminar, which was held in collaboration with GMC Clinics and 800GMCDOC, was presented by Dr. Shahla Karamani, a general practitioner at GMC Clinics. It covered topics such as creating awareness about job related health risks and problems of the modern workplace and solutions.
The seminar comprised health awareness presentation and free medical check-ups for the participants that included rbs, bp and bmw tests by 800GMCDOC. The presentation was then followed by an open discussion for those at the seminar. The free seminar was attended by delegates, in-house guests and executives from nearby corporate offices, a statement said.
