Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will now offer WhatsApp services to its passengers free of charge.

The kingdom’s premiere airline company revealed that the new offer will be available to all its domestic guests and few specific international destinations including flights to Dubai, London, Manchester, Paris, Madrid, Washington, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

WhatsApp will be available on all domestic flights operated by internet service aircraft in its fleet of B777-300, B787, A330-300 as well as the new generation A320 aircrafts.

Commenting on the launch of the new services, Saudia’s director general Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser said it’s in line with the country’s 2030 vision to develop a framework of a comprehensive programme to develop all services in all service locations in excess of the expectations of guests in the context of the initiative TOP5, which was launched in February earlier this year and is being implement gradually since mid-April.

Al Jasser further revealed in a statement that by the end of June, the airline will provide passengers telephones and continue to develop services and products on its modern fleet, including the latest satellite communications technology.
