The average cost of weekend getaways around the world can range from US $575 to $2,503, at least according to Deutsche Bank’s annual “Mapping the world’s prices” report.
The research, which highlights the cost of living in about 50 major cities, placing Dubai at number 26, where the cost of a weekend getaway is an average $1,281 - without flights.
The cheapest getaway, however, are Istanbul, Turkey at a reasonable $575

Followed by Manila, Philippines at $709
And Sao Paulo, Brazil at $725.
Following suit is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at $831
Bangalore, India at $840
And New Delhi, India at $848.
Johannesburg, South Africa and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia scored $910 and $914 respectively for an average cost of a weekend getaway.
In Europe, a weekend getaway at Lisbon, Portugal will cost you $977 and a slightly higher $985 in Brussels, Belgium.
