RSG Group of Companies has announced the appointment of Al Habbai Contracting as the main contractor for its Sabah Rotana project on Dubai's main highway.
The contract, worth AED500 million ($136 million), is for the construction of a 54-floor building on Sheikh Zayed Road.
To be launched before Expo 2020, the five-star hotel and hotel apartments is projected to be completed in two and a half years.

Sabah Rotana is a collaboration between property developer, RSG Group of Companies, and Rotana, the UAE-based hotel management company.
The tower encompasses hotel rooms, serviced hotel apartments, food & beverage outlets, nightclubs and meeting rooms plus an opulent Sky bar.
