Marriott International will no longer manage The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.
The management has been transferred to Al Habtoor Group.
Marriott International said in an emailed statement to HotelierMiddleEast.com: “Marriott International will no longer manage or otherwise be associated with The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club with effect from 01 July, 2018. This is a mutual decision reached amicably with Al Habtoor Group, the owner of the property. After the set date, the management of these hotels will be transferred to the owning company. We are working closely with the owning company to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for associates, clients and partners.”

A statement on the hotel website currently says, "As of 1st July 2018, Marriott International and will no longer manage or be otherwise associated with The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club. Please note that reservations for dates on or after the set date will not be eligible for loyalty member benefits, award redemptions or accrual of Rewards Points."
It was “a mutual decision reached amicably with Al Habtoor Group, the owner of the property,” according to a company email.
The 136-room hotel is the centrepiece of the six million ft2 equestrian sports centre.
