Atlantis, The Palm is all set to open a Hakkasan outlet within the property in September 2018, and it will later be relocated to The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences after its completion in 2019. The Dubai restaurant was previously located at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai.

Hakkasan will join Atlantis, The Palm’s gastronomic line-up in The Avenues, however, the exact venue hasn't been shared by the team yet.

The menu will offer Hakkasan’s signature dishes such as peking duck, hakka steamed dim sum and charcoal grilled silver cod with champagne and honey.

“We are very excited to start this journey with Atlantis, offering all-encompassing experience drawing on Hakkasan Group’s global expertise in combining hospitality and entertainment in innovative and memorable ways,” commented Nick McCabe, CEO of Hakkasan Group. “We are confident that diners will enjoy this Hakkasan at Atlantis, The Palm whether they are coming for our authentic cuisine, award-winning cocktails, stylish atmosphere or all of the above.”

Atlantis, The Palm is home to restaurants such as Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Ronda Locatelli by Italian chef Giorgio Locatelli, and Nobu by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

Timothy Kelly, general manager and SVP, Operations for Atlantis, The Palm commented, “As one of the world’s most renowned restaurant brands, we look forward to welcoming Hakkasan to our resort. Hakkasan has redefined the approach to modern Chinese fine-dining and in turn, Atlantis has redefined what guests can expect from a world-class destination resort. It’s an exciting addition to the resort’s already diverse collection of restaurants and we see great synergy between the two brands.”

Earlier this month, Hakkasan Dubai released a short statement to say that they had “decided to close their current operation at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel as of Sunday 1st July 2018. Please stay tuned as we announce our new location very soon. We’d like to thank our loyal customer who have made our time in Dubai a tremendous success. We look forward to remaining part of the community.”

The brand was launched in London in 2001 and it has 12 locations around the world. Hakkasan is run by two Michelin-starred chefs: executive head chef Tong Chee Hwee and international executive chef Ho Chee Boon, the latter of whom visited the Dubai outlet in May for an exclusive dinner series.
