Held at Le Meriden Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, the 14th edition of the Hotelier Awards saw Halima Al Ghafri recognised for her many achievements
Gafri, a sales executive at Millennium Resort Mussanah beat out seven other nominees in her category and, although she was not present to receive her award, commented: “This is one of the highlights of my career. I am very happy and very grateful to the management for recognising my hard work. This is a great blessing and I hope this award will encourage others especially my colleagues to give their best because it’s a great satisfaction personally and professionally.”
Simon B. Moore, general manager, Millenium Airport Hotel Dubai was on hand to collect the award on Gafri’s behalf while Dermot Birchall, General Manager at Millennium Resort Mussanah said: “The team at Millennium Resort Mussanah congratulates Halima for her exemplary work. Her passion and commitment do not go unnoticed. She is a valuable asset to any organization and we hope that she continues to be an inspiration for young Omani women who contribute to the nation’s industry and economy.”

Highly commended in the category sponsored by Emaar was Nelson Sumit Gomes, marketing manager, InterContinental Al Jubail.
