Cocktail bar Ginseng is set to launch its new range of food and beverages with a bang this week, at a glittering event following a five-month menu redevelopment.

“There’ll be plenty of glitz and glamour and a chance to sample some of the finest cocktails and tapas Dubai has ever seen,” claimed the Wafi outlet’s assistant manager, Jasmine Carr.

Carr said the long process of revamping the established outlet’s menu had involved looking at the best-selling cocktails and then considering guests’ needs and preferences.

“We tried to make this menu in tune with the coming summer season with plenty of fresh fruits,” she revealed.

“We took many influences from around the world using spices, herbs, fresh fruits, jams and other amazing ingredients.

“The menu also features Ginseng’s signature cocktails section, which consists of unique cocktails created by [the team], including our award winning bartender Raditya Dimas, who won first place at the [11th Annual International Finlandia Vodka Cup] this year,” continued Carr, adding that the whole team was very proud of Dimas’ achievement.

"The menu will feature Finlandia Vodka as its primary spirit," she revealed, explaining that the bar enjoyed  “a great relationship” with the brand.

Regarding food, Carr said certain Ginseng classics that were popular with regulars had stayed on the menu.

“We’ve also taking influences from all over Asia, adding some beautiful new sushi and tapas,” she said.

Carr said the outlet’s ambition was to be “recognised as one of the leading cocktail lounge bars in Dubai”.

“We have spent many hours and a lot of effort making this menu original and unique,” she explained. “We have something on the new menu for everyone.”

Carr revealed that Ginseng’s menu launch on April 22 would also see the introduction of Wafi nightclub Plan B’s new Wednesday night event, MISH MASH, offering a mix of music “to appeal to everyone”.
