This month, Caterer Middle East took a look at the level of morale among staff in the region’s outlets.
This month showed the summer slow-down coming into play, with 69% of respondents saying business had been average or slow, compared to 54% of respondents last month.

However the market mood wasn’t all to do with the season: 56% of F&B staff surveyed said they were only averagely happy in their role, while 58% were unhappy with the salary they received.
And watch out, employers: a whopping 81% admitted they had either applied or were considering applying for another job.
