The Spa at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island has opened its doors to visitors, introducing a totally new haute couture spa and beauty brand to the UAE.
French label Anne Semonin is known for blending traditional remedies and ingredients with new technology and formulations, and will be available to the UAE for the first time exclusively at The Spa.
The new relaxation venue also boasts an exclusive association with Aromatherapy Associates.
The spa will be overseen by director Susan Yarbug, who says she is “a strong advocate of organic products”, preferring to use natural ingredients as often as possible.
Yarbug brings to the role more then 10 years of spa experience, having won the Geo Expat Award for the ‘Best European Day Spa in Hong Kong’ as well as establishing the first Halal-certified spa in the world.

A spokesperson for the property revealed that The Spa’s signature treatment would be the ‘Radisson Blu Rose Decadence’.
This claims to “rejuvenate and nourish the skin, starting with a full body exfoliation using skin-conditioning marine extracts and olive grains”.
Essential oils are then layered onto the skin to “encourage cell renewal”, followed by moisturizing with Evening Primrose Oil and Shea Butter.
“Neglected hands and feet are given special attention with a softening and re-mineralising freshwater mud mask before the body is cocooned in a wrap, during which gels, oils and creams are absorbed into the skin,” the spokesperson added.
The treatment concludes with a scalp massage and a rose and frankincense firming facial massage.
