Tickets for the four-day Al Ain Aerobatic Show - to be held at Al Ain International Airport from January 27-30 – have been pegged at last year’s prices in a bid to attract a record-breaking crowd.

The Al Ain Aerobatic Show claims to be the world’s only aerobatic spectacle that combines military and civil aircraft, stunt displays and competitions, featuring some of the world's top pilots.

ADTA Major Events Division manager Faisal Al Sheikh, said the event, now in its eighth year, could see visitor records smashed.

"We anticipate even larger numbers of spectators than last year because of a number of key improvements to facilities and greater awareness of the show,” he said.

“Last year we achieved a record of over 130,000 spectators – we’re now looking to beat that.”

Daily tickets for the show are pegged at last year’s prices – AED 40 per adult and AED 25 for children between three and 10 years.

Children under the age of three get in free.

Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s oldest desert oasis settlements, the air spectacular is held under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
