F&B industry solutions provider Nestlé Professional has taken this year's Gulfood as an opportunity to relaunch its Nestea beverage brand.

Commenting on the Nestea push, the firm’s beverage business manager Middle East Joe Aouad noted: “We have seen in many full-service restaurants and casual dining outlets where there are not many other solutions apart from carbonated beverages.

“An alternative was being requested by consumers and operators alike, so we decided to leverage these demands and relaunch our Nestea lemon and peach products.

“It’s not something new for the industry, but it’s the only dispenser beverage solution — all other options on the market that are ready to drink are in individual format, like cans," he noted.

“This is a great solution as it offers good margins for the operator and something different for the customer."

In addition to offering Nestea tastings, the Nestlé stand at the region’s premier F&B show features the company's executive chef conducting live cooking demonstrations on how Nestlé products can be used creatively in the kitchen.
