Italian restaurant, café and food shop Carluccio’s is introducing customers to authentic seasonal flavours at its outlets this month.

The renowned brand, founded by Antonio Carluccio, has been hosting special ‘Primavera Dimostrazione di Cucina’ (spring cooking demonstrations) at its recently opened stores in Dubai.

The final seasonal demonstration will take place this month, at 10am on Saturday May 8 at the Dubai Marina Mall outlet.

Hosting the open classes will be head chef Giulio Brignola — who met up with Caterer Middle East at Carluccio’s Dubai Mall last month for a sneak preview of what to expect.

“The demonstrations are in line with our ‘primavera’ promotion for the season, focusing on spring items such as basil, wonderful light olive oil and fresh vegetables that are in season,” he explained.

“This focus on seasonality is at the heart of the Carluccio’s concept: very simple, very delicious, very high quality but also very accessible food.

“We always choose the very best fresh ingredients we can get,” Brignola continued. “At the end of the day we’re not fine dining, but we do use the same quality of products.”

Guests will not only be able to watch Chef Giulio work his magic, but will also get to sample the dishes and will receive a free goody bag to take home.

The cost is AED 250 per person and as spaces are limited, booking is advised.
