The company added it will also be the first to feature a water taxi transfer from one shore to another, providing its residents access to the shopping and leisure attractions.

Blending Moorish and Andalusian architecture with contemporary, chic living environments, the low-rise resort, comprising 90 guest rooms and four beach villas, will “promote a sense of understated elegance with privacy being of the utmost importance” according to a statement by the company.

It will feature three dining experiences, including an over water restaurant, DJ bar and lounge, with direct access for guests by private yacht or speedboat.

The company has also worked with ESPA International to develop wellness programmes including elements such as osteopathy, acupuncture, naturopathy and dermatology to be delivered within eight private spa suites.

“We are observing an increase in demand from guests seeking to incorporate a wellness approach within their leisure time,” said general manager Michael Payne.

“With this in mind, guests will be able to select three to five day programmes tailored to such desires.”
