Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort has donated AED 11,000 to The Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled in Dibba, Fujairah.
The donation will be used to develop and upgrade the center's facilities and for educational and other aid supplies for individuals that have hearing, visual or movement disabilities.
General manager of the resort Patrick Antaki handed the cheque to the centre representative, Shaikah Al Mutava. Antaki said: "Helping the community and preserving nature is an integral part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility. Despite the current economic conditions, we remain firm to our commitments to continue with our activities to support people and charity organisations in need.”
