A lady gave birth in the hotel reception of a hotel in Media City, Dubai yesterday afternoon, according to a report in The National.
The baby girl was born in the reception of the Grand Midwest Tower Hotel, where staff sealed the area and helped calm the mother.
According to the report by the UAE daily, Zafar Shah the chairman of the hotel said he plans to name the mother's room after the child and that she can stay at the hotel free of charge anytime she wants.

The mother and child were taken to Al Wasl Hospital, but it is hoped that mother and daughter will be able to return to the hotel for a party in their honour.
