Alka Patel from Fairmont Dubai and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr scooped the coveted Marketing and PR Person of the Year award at the Hotelier Middle East Awards on Thursday.
In the last year coming out of a recession, Alka Patel garnered more publicity for Fairmont Dubai & Fairmont Bab Al Bahr than ever before.
Her nomination was overflowing with testimonials from journalists, PR agencies, and her Fairmont colleagues here and at the head office in Canada. Simply put, she is one of a kind – a consummate PR professional who singlehandedly promotes her two hotels on a regional and global stage.
