Southern Sun Al Manzil Hotel Dubai scooped Hotelier Middle East's first ever Hotel Team of the Year award.
Sponsors La Vie handed the team the trophy for the hotels ability to amass a range of achievements, including continually high occupancy, a strong repeat guest ratio and a super TripAdvisor rating.
What was clear, however, was that every accolade was attributable to a carefully recruited warm, friendly and efficient team, in which every single member of staff takes ownership for making Al Manzil the success that is.

Speaking on behalf of the team, general manager John De Canha said: "Winning this award feels fantasic, we are unbelievably excited about it. The team has worked so hard — it is an absolute team effort I have to tell you, and I am so happy for them. I am so excited."
In third place, the second runner up and Highly Commended nominee for Hotel Team of the Year was Media One Hotel Dubai and in second place, first runner up and Highly Commended nominee went to Dubai favourite, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
