U Hotels & Resorts has announced its first property in the Middle East; U Le Mirage Doha, which is scheduled to open in August 2011.

Encouraged and enthused by the brand’s impressive expansion into Thailand, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia, we believe we have a winning formula,” he added.
The property marks the beginning of the company’s plans for growth in the region, with a further four hotels to be announced in the Middle East.
“We are confident U Le Mirage Doha will be an iconic flagship marking the commencement of our aggressive expansion into the region. In the near future, we will be announcing four new hotels under the U Brand umbrella for the region” said Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services.
The 120 room hotel will offer guests a fitness centre, spa, meetings facilities and business centre, as well as a variety of F&B outlets.
