New website certifies 'true' beach hotels

Another pseudo website to clutter the web! Why? The Hilton Abu Dhabi is in the list: there is a 6 lane road between the main building and the beach club facilities, so how can it qualify for "true" beach front hotel? What a joke... Don't get me wrong, the hotel has nice facilities but it surely does not fulfill the "certification" criterion.

another misquote from HM to make the article sound more interesting than it is "only 14 out of Dubai's thousand of hotels warrant beachfront" There are only 352 hotels recognised and certified by DTCM, so to say thousands of hotels. Also only 14 hotels are located on the beachfront, so once again, no new insight or revealing information from this article

Hi Ray & Cedric, and thanks very much for your comments. We have just launched and are still in our beta phase, so we know we haven't got it 100% correct, just yet, but we will. Our ultimate goal is to have only absolute true beachfront hotels in our member listings...and with everybody's help, we will. We have now rechecked and removed the Hilton Abu Dhabi from our database, thanks to your advice. Best beachfront regards.
