Housekeepers have to be ready to train and develop the team. That?s the only way. You get fresh blood, teach them English first and then the tasks and get something out of him or her in return for a year or two if you are lucky. He or she is sure to move to another department as they are proud to be called waiters or bell boys or drivers rather than Room Attendants. On the other hand we housekeepers should be proud that we are creating the waiters, bellboys , cashiers and chefs. Two years ago the other Department heads or the HR would never even consider hiring them. So let?s change our mind set, be prepared to develop people and be proud we are Housekeepers.
