Having been in Desert palm on numerous occasions while living in Dubai I could see the service grow and grow. The staff were happy and keen to make your experience where ever you were in the restaurants, by the pool or on the terrace the best. The staff were not overbearing at all. Emily leads her team with passion that oozes out of them! She would take it personally if any part of your time in Desert Palm was not the best you had ever had anywhere. It has to be memorable. She constantily works to improve on every aspect of clients time at Desert Palm. She has brought some fantastic ideas such as the personanlised menus, movies and munchies are brilliant and her personality is everywhere. Her eyes are constantly watching and she is smiling, talking to her staff and they are so responsive. Emily also spends time with the guests ensuring they are happy and taking an interest in their lives. She has many regulars due to her! Attention to detail is obvious from the table setting through to the excellent staff she trains. Emily gives you the feeling of visiting a friend that will look after you.

I have really enjoyed each experience I have had at Desert Palm as the service and the food has always been so attentive and friendly you cant help but return. The attention to detail and care over each aspect of the service and presentation is impeccably clear and demonstrates the dedication for the operations manager. It is extremely evident that a great deal of time and support has been invested in all the staff and i hope this award gives Emily the chance to grasp the recognition she has clearly earned. Since the beginning it has been a pleasure to watch the hotel and the team to develop and flourish since it opened, congratulations to Emily and the F & B team! you very much hope you know what a valuable asset you are.

I have had the privilege to work with Emily in the past, and can truly say that this nomination is a true reflection of the professional she is. I am certain that she is credit to the Dessert Palm and working with her is inspiring and there is never a dull moment. Congratulations Emily

Emily truly is an amazing breath of fresh air and nothing could ever faze this level headed, career focussed female working hard in a heavily male dominated world. I have seen Emily grow from strength to strength and although no longer working with me, I am certain that her abilities are applied 100% to everything she does now, as she did for me during the four years we worked together. Truly remarkable and was always able to make a clear definition between work and play. If there was an opportunity to work with or re employ Emily in the future, I would have no hesitation!

Visiting desert palm is one of the most pleasant experiences one can ever have, thanks to emily and her team of responsive and energetic member just makes you keep coming back to the place over and over again for the same service. Emily comes with a lot of hardwork and pays a lot of attention to all the details, let it be menus or movies or anything it is all dealt by her in the most effective and efficent manner at the earliest. You get the same feeling that whatever the issue is, it bieng taken care of by a dear friend. Let me not miss out on the part whatever happens one can miss out on the smile on her face, it just enlightens and makes it a better place to be.
