I do not agre completly on this. Many people go out and looking for a nioce full rich and yes high collory full of flavor and taste meal. I thinks its all about balance in your menu. A restaurant where they not use any butter, cream or decent olive oil is also doomed. Its the frequent diner thats often looking for the healthy option. Do not get me wrong it can be good without the rich and unhealthy ingredients. In fact most of my dieet consist of healthy foods but don,t we want to spoil our selves ones a while. Have a bananced dieet that all it takes

You say chefs are trying to kill everyone off with unhealthy ingredients....why don't you do us all a real favor and list them?! I am not sure where you are getting your facts from...oh wait a minute....you never presented any facts?! oh....its just somebody's ill-conceived opinion!! I almost took you seriously!! haha So what happened?...you went out to eat asked for sauce on the side or tried to change the menu at some restaurant and now your taking a shot at ALL the chefs?? Good one....

i think it's great you enjoy bland, flavorless food. however, there aren't too many out there like you. read what you are writing... chefs everywhere - tv, restaurants, bla... don't ya think there's a reason for that?! doncha!?!?! huh..? IT SELLS!! people buy what they like... they aren't able to cook like the pros (which is why they are afraid to use butters, oils, etc.), so they go to a restaurant to enjoy what the pros can cook for them... YA DOPE! and on a quick other note, are you not aware of the nutritional and health benefits of what chefs are using nowadays? organics, no pesticides, etc. what about the benefits of such oils like grapeseed oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, certain nut oils, etc... to finish: I am really getting sick and tired of the home schooled so-called "chefs" that think they know everything because they saw an episode of good eats with alton brown! shut up and stay home if you don't like it... but i know you won't, because, well... you LOVE it...
