Rezidor Hotel Group has become the first international hotel group to achieve full green certification across all of its hotels and brands in the UAE.
Speaking at the World Green Tourism Forum in Abu Dhabi this week, Rezidor responsible business manager Sarah Rooney said, “We believe it is important to have a third party asses and recognize our efforts in Responsible Business and in Green Key; we found an organisation that shares a number of our key values and that has been set up purely to preserve the environment – we look forward to taking our partnership with them much further.”
The six Rezidor hotels which have achieved full green certification(The Radisson Blu and Park Inn Hotel’s on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island; the Radisson Blu Resort in Sharjah, and Radisson Blu Hotels in Dubai Deira Creek, Dubai Marina and Dubai Media City), are the only hotels in the country which currently have the Green Key certification.
