HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings formalised contracts for two new projects in Jordan, two in Oman and one in Lebanon.

Michel Noblet, president and CEO, HMH, said: “Coral Manja Resort is a beautiful 72-units property superbly located in Madaba while Coral Hotel is an amazing 190 keys hotel in Aqaba. Equally fascinating is the ultra luxurious Coral Concorde, a 68-keys boutique property situated in central Beirut.”

Despite the political unrest, Noblet said he expected to see opportunities for the industry in the region.

“We are definitely evaluating the situation. The recent political events have been so sweeping, broad and unexpected that it is difficult to say anything more at the moment. Most of us are in the wait and watch situation until the dust has settled and order is restored,” he asserted.

“Destinations such as Lebanon, Jordan and Syria will remain under pressure for a while. However, as businessmen we take a long term view on the region. A stable and secure environment is certainly needed to lure back visitors to the region.”

The company also announced the soft opening of Coral Hotel Doha and Corp Executive Hotel – Doha Suites and the signing of two new properties in Oman: Coral Plaza – Qurum – Muscat featuring 120 keys and EWA Mahdha Hotel.

Expanding its portfolio in the Middle East and Africa is a key goal for HMH, Noblet asserted.

“It is exciting to see the growth of our brands in the region as it has enormous tourism potential. We look forward to continue this prosperous relationship with our business associates,” he added.
