Rixos Hotels has announced the launch of Rixos Residences Palm Jumeirah, a combined hotel and residence project in Dubai.

The property, which will open to the public in December 2011, signifies the arrival of Rixos Hotels in the UAE and the region said Fettah Tamince, chairman of Rixos Hotels.

The hotel section of Rixos Residences Palm Jumeirah will consist of 204 rooms. The project footprint which neighbours H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum's Palace and Sofouh Road, has an indoor area covering only 30% of the total available land. The remaining 70% is dedicated to gardens and a beach promenade area.

The residence section boasts 112 flats, offering various options such as two- and three-bedroom residences as well as four- and five-bedroom detached villas with gardens, accompanied by roof gardens on the seventh floor that encircle the buildings.
