A female hotel receptionist and her male companion, both aged 20, were found dead after a suspected “love-triangle” double murder at the five-star Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Harlington, West London, where she worked.
The prime suspect, Attila Ban ,a 31-year-old Hungarian national who also worked as a receptionist at the hotel, is believed to have been in a relationship with one of the victims — and made the attack when he found out his lover was cheating on him, according to UK newspaper The Sun.
Hours after the crime, Ban reportedly tried to kill himself by slashing his neck and wrists. He remains in hospital under arrest.

The female victim, Alice Adams, was English and was said to have worked in the hotel reception for approximately two weeks alongside the male victim, Tibor Vass, from Hungary. Police reportedly discovered the bodies of Adams and Vass at staff quarters in a semi-detached house nearby in Harlington, West London, at 3.15pm [GMT]. A knife had been discarded at the scene.
"The employees were supposed to be going into work for duty at 7am [GMT] on Wednesday,” a source at the hotel near Heathrow Airport told the newspaper.
"When they didn't show up a manager went looking for them. I heard it was a bloodbath. The three knew each other, but something happened and it boiled over."
Post mortems confirmed both victims died from multiple stab wounds. Scotland Yard said the murder probe was continuing.
