The Radisson hotel receptionist accused of killing two colleagues at the London hotel staff accommodation had recently been recognised as Employee of the Month, according to UK media reports.
Attila Ban, 31, was charged with murdering Alice Adams and Tibor Vass, both 20, at the staff accommodation where he lived in Harlington, West London.
All three worked as receptionists at the Radisson Edwardian hotel near Heathrow Airport. Adams was English and was said to have worked in the hotel for approximately two weeks alongside Vass, from Hungary.

Police reportedly discovered the bodies of Adams and Vass at staff quarters in a semi-detached house nearby in Harlington, West London, at 3.15pm [GMT]. A knife had been discarded at the scene.
Hours after the crime, Ban reportedly tried to kill himself by slashing his neck and wrists. He was found at the flat in the bottom of a divan bed two days later and taken to hospital.
Ban appeared at the Old Bailey — Central Criminal Court in England — via videolink, still bandaged on his arms and neck.
He was remanded in custody for a plea and case-management hearing on November 18. No bail application was made, reports by the Press Association revealed.
