Gordon Ramsay has ended his partnership with Hilton Dubai Creek in Dubai, where he operated Verre, his first overseas restaurant consultancy, for more than a decade.

Verre’s executive chef Scott Price and head chef Nick Alvis, who have had more than 10 years working with Gordon Ramsay Holdings, will continue to work at the restaurant.

They said: “Gordon gave us a fantastic opportunity to run Verre and we've been very grateful for his and his team’s support.

“It’s time for a new challenge as Dubai is a great place with a constantly evolving dining scene and we're now working on an exciting new project which will be unveiled soon.”

Ramsay added: “I would like to thank the team at Verre for our ten year partnership. It's a superb restaurant and I wish Scott and Nick all the best with their future plans.”

It is not yet known whether the restaurant will change its name, but more details are expected to be revealed later this week.

Verre, which was first overseen by Ramsay’s protégés Angela Hartnett and then Jason Atherton, has won several awards over the past few years.

Most recently, Price was named Chef of the Year – Hotel Restaurant at the Caterer Middle East Awards.
