“The property’s owning company, MOBH GROUP, has two other hotels, under IHG management, so it was a natural fit to rebrand the hotel a Holiday Inn,” said Wimble.

“The hotel is a great fit with the Holiday Inn brand in terms of room numbers, size and location. Its proximity to Dubai International Airport, the Embassy District, Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai Creek and shopping districts makes it the perfect base for business and leisure guests alike.”

Wimble said that several changes had been made to bring the hotel up to Holiday Inn brand standards.

“As with any conversion and rebrand, there is always some work that needs to done,” said Wimble.

“As the hotel is only a few years old, no structural work is needed. The Holiday Inn hallmarks were installed to bring it into line with global brand standards to ensure a consistent Holiday Inn guest experience.

“These included: Holiday Inn signature scent in the lobby and all public areas; bespoke music compilation throughout the hotel; pillow menus in the room to allow the guest a choice of soft or firm pillows; power showers in guest bathrooms and curved shower rails to enhance space and light; hearty Holiday Inn breakfast; and fresh clutter free modern interiors,” explained Wimble.

Fadi Ammache, director of sales and marketing, Holiday Inn Bur Dubai-Embassy District, said the hotel would target both diplomatic and corporate guests, and leisure travellers.

“Our multiple room categories include executive suites and diversified hotels facilities such as swimming pool, gym, massage, sauna and steam center offers a wide choice for a relaxing stay,” said Ammache.

With the opening of the Holiday Inn Bur Dubai-Embassy District, IHG now has 12 hotels in the Dubai and 18 in the UAE.
