Dubai-based hospitality design company Wa International has been recognised for its work with One&Only The Palm, in Dubai in the International Hotel Awards.
The ceremony, which took place in The Savoy hotel in London judged by 20 industry professionals, saw One&Only The Palm presented not only with Best Hotel Interior in Dubai in the regional categories, but also Best International Hotel, seeing off cometition from 73 other countries.
Claire Craig, design director of Wa International, said: “To be recognised for our work on an international level is such a great honour and to be competing against so many top hotel properties on the global stage indicates just how tough the competition has been.”
The company was previously highly commended in the Best Interior category and was given five stars for Best Hotel in November at Arabian Hotel Awards, which led to the entry into the International Hotel Awards.
