Khaled Shawesh has joined Al Ain Rotana as its new director of food and beverage, taking charge of its six F&B outlets.
He brings more than 18 years' experience in the hospitality industry, having started as a food and beverage trainee in 1995 with Intercontinental in Amman, Jordan. Only four years later he became restaurant manager at Rosewood’s two properties in Riyadh, Al Khozama and Al Faisaliah.
In 2007 he became director of food and beverage at Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort, after having worked his way up at the property since 2002, and then moved to Le Meridien Hotel in Amman two years later.
Prior to his new position he was carrying out the same role at Grand Rotana Sharm El Sheikh
